Biography

I was born in Colorado in 1968.My father was in the military, so I grew up in Germany and in several parts of the US. After leaving my first career I returned to school to rediscover my love for art. I earned my BFA at the University of Colorado in Boulder.

Statement
|
|
Working with an intangible medium allows for an easier transfer of psychological and emotional aspects hidden within a personal reality. I use digital processes, a medium of information (bits of light and time that are encoded) to express visceral reflections of our world which have been encoded in my mind. I create photographic images taken from the mind and the soul. I use my painting skills to composite the digital image, creating a painting of photographs.
