Tara K Ivins
Biography
Tara Ivins graduated from Slippery Rock University in 1998 with a focus in Metalsmithing. After a brief hiatus in the real world she returned to the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in Philadelphia, PA and received a Masters of Fine Arts Degree in 2003.
 
Statement
Light and color surround us creating illusions and mystery. They allow objects to become something more then themselves. They allow me to explore ideas of perception and induldge my active imagination. The second set of work wich consists of transfers and digital images is a process of drawing.
