Daniel E. Couto
Daniel was born September 30, 1971 in Bedford, MA. He attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY and acquired a degree in chemical engineering. He currently works in the biopharmaceutical industry at GTC Biotherapeutics in Framingham MA where he holds the position of rhSA Program Director (rhSA, recombinant human serum albumin).
Dan has been formally creating art over the last five years and has been painting in acrylics since 2002. Recently his major focus has shifted toward abstract work over the past few years. This series showcases a selection of paintings in the realm of thoughts, dreams and spirituality.

So random are the events of nature, as seen by the human eye. We add the dimension of complexity, struggle, hope and triumph into what may be such a simple event. Painted with the human imagination, this series of work captures a snapshot of vision that lends itself to human emotions projected upon the simplicity of nature.
