In about 1968 I purchased a watercolor of a winter scene at an art fair in Arkansas City, Kansas. I've always wanted to contact the artist, R. Carver, to tell him how much I have enjoyed seeing it everyday. It has hung in our home ever since then even though we have moved several times and now live in the northwest. Thanks for coming to that long ago Ark City Art Fair!

in 1993 i was given one of your signed, numbered [246/300], framed prints titled 'the shaman'. things r fuzzy but seems happy harry and i had gone to your home to shoot pool in the wee hours. i had admired all the other prints and u gave me this one.do u recall any of that? i still have that print and proudly display it in my home.
i have always been curious and seeing that u do live in wichita i'm thinking it must have been true! lol
